Organized in January 1972 as the Dianthus Circle of St. Augustine Garden Club.
The Dianthus is an annual and perennial flower of 200 species, the most well known being the Carnation and Sweet William. Most Dianthus are spring bloomers and usually grow easily in any ordinary soil.
