Organized in 1939 as the Las Adelfas Circle of St Augustine Garden Club.

The Las Adelfas (Spanish for Oleander) is an ornamental shrub, native of Asia Minor the Mediterranean area. It is hardy in Florida. The foliage is glossy, green leaves; the flowers are single or double; fragrant; white, pink or red.
