The Christmas Tour of Homes | |
The Garden Club of St. Augustine Sunday, December 5th, 2010 12 -- 5pm. for our 42nd Christmas Tour of Homes The Christmas Tour of Homes is an annual tradition, hosted by The Garden Club of St. Augustine since 1968. This year's Tour, entitled "Ancient City Christmas", features 8 private homes dating from the 1700's. The homes are located along the bayfront on Avenida Menendez, as well as Marine, St George and Tremerton Streets. In keeping with the Garden Club’s desire to share with the public the rich, historic aspects of St. Augustine, walk back in time and experience the charm, warmth and grandeur of the holiday season in the nation's oldest city.
The eye-catching seasonal decorations and floral arrangements throughout this walking Tour will be composed of natural materials, designed and hand crafted by members of The Garden Club of St. Augustine to support the decor of the individual home they grace. Your ticket will include Afternoon Tea, and a visit to our “Unique Boutique” which will feature delicious homemade treats and beautifully hand designed items created by our members. Begin your Holiday shopping in earnest while enjoying Holiday refreshments. This year's Tour begins at 12:00pm and ends at 5:00pm.
