Floralines Guild
Floralines Guild is a floral design group
dedicated to improving the designs which we
use in our Flower Shows.

Under the umbrella of the Garden Club of St. Augustine
several Committees have been established.
These Committees are dedicated to a specific task
and each reports to the Executive Board
of the Garden Club.
Members from all Circles are encouraged to join
a Committee and participate in the activities
of the Garden Club of St. Augustine.

Environmental Committee
The Group's objectives are to:
  • select teachers from the St Johns County School District to
    receive stipends to support their horticultural programs
  • include children's programs in libraries and schools
on making bins for vermaculture
  • to hold public educational programs for children
    and adults throughout the year
  • to provide and plant tress in local schools to celebrate
Florida's Arbor Day
  • and to propose environmental activities for the
Garden Club as a whole.

Tour of Homes Committee
The Garden Club of St. Augustine holds an annual
Tour of Homes in early December.
This is our fundraiser for the year.

Formerly titled the Building Committee, the Ways and Means
Committee has the following two objectives:
~~ To make available to club members and friends social activities to
encourage their interest in design and gardening and to make related
tools and supplies available for sale. Yearly activities typically include:
Fun with Flowers, a Fashion Show, a Club trip, and our Ways and Means
table where items are available for sale during club meetings and
other events.
~~ To raise funds for the purchase of large items for the garden
clubhouse. Recent purchases have included a set of new folding chairs
for the meeting area. Future purchases are being considered.

Nature's Detective's Summer Programs
Run in conjunction with St Johns County local Libraries, this
committee organizes and designs educational programs at
local libraries for children 5 to 12 years of age.

Landscape Committee
This committee's objectives are to beautify and
maintain the gardens at the Garden Center
and create a place for people to sit and enjoy nature.
